New VMware Certifications to be announced soon

To already known VCP and VCDX certifications you’ll soon be able to add another one (or two). The partial information can be found on Scott Wessey’s blog http://vmwaretraining.blogspot.com. The names of those new certifications had not been officialy announced by VMware and Scott also says that on his blog, but already one can imagine that there will be an intermediate level between VCP4 and VCDX 4, which is a good news since I don’t really feel to go for the VCDX…. at least not yet. The intermediate level could be the way to go for many VCP and VCP 4 certified persons.

On top of the existing foundation level VCP4 certification, there will be three new certifications for vSphere 4:

• Enterprise Administrator Certification * (the final names to be confirmed)
• Design Administrator Certification *(the final names to be confirmed)
• VMware Certified Design Expert on vSphere 4 (VCDX4)
